We decided to open this site as a spin-off of 'fontfontfont.com', which was personally launched on May 16, 2004, with the goal of 'creating a font database that connects people who make fonts with people who search for them'.

At the time, when I tried to find my favorite fonts to create banners, logos, and menus,
I would search for font distribution sites on Google → Check the fonts being distributed
(If I found one here, great, but it was rare, so I would repeat this several times...)
→ Try downloading one that looks good → Install it
→ Try using it in image editing software like Photoshop → Something is off...
I had to repeat this process over and over until I finally found one.
Thinking 'Isn't there an easier way to find my favorite fonts?', I started creating a site that would be easy for me to use, 'fontfontfont.com'.
From there, 'Search fontfontfont.com' was born as a site specialized in font search.
